Postdoctoral research positions are available in a research program focusing on the structure, function, and regulation of G protein-coupled receptors. Studies relate to the molecular basis for ligand-receptor interaction, conformational changes associated with receptor activation, and protein-protein and protein-lipid interactions regulating receptor function. The group utilizes unique photochemical and fluorescence techniques, as well as molecular biological, biochemical, and cell biological approaches. Ideal candidates should hold an M.D. or a Ph.D. degree, be highly motivated and have demonstrated excellence in receptor biology, molecular pharmacology or structural characterization of membrane proteins. Salary will be determined by the candidate’s experience. There is an attractive benefit package.
