Postdoctoral research position available in biological physics and/or computational biology at the Quantitative Biology group at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, New York. This opportunity would allow creative and driven researchers to apply mathematical and computational tools to address quantitative principles governing the behavior of many-body biological systems, ranging from molecular interactions in a single prokaryotic cell to the evolution of the species Homo sapiens.

 

Candidates ought to be comfortable with scientific programming and possess a quantitative PhD (e.g. physics, mathematics, bioinformatics, computer science,…). Although previous experience in biological research would be useful, we also welcome researchers committed to make the transition from the physical sciences to biology.
