美国芝加哥大学招聘博士后

A postdoctoral position is available for research and training on the molecular mechanisms of cardiac progenitor / stem cell specification and congenital heart disease in the Moskowitz laboratory at The University of Chicago. This project will focus on the molecular mechanisms that specify progenitor cells for cardiac lineages including the cardiac conduction system (Moskowitz et al., Cell 2007) or the atrial septum (Hoffmann et al., Development 2009). The laboratory integrates genomics and mouse genetics and applies techniques including Chip-seq, SAGE-seq, in-vivo cell fate mapping, and in-vivo conditional gene ablation.

Candidates must have a recent PhD in developmental biology, genetics, molecular biology or closely related field and have published at least one first author paper in an English language journal. Experience with genomics, murine genetics, proteomics or cardiac development is sought, although an appropriate combination of education, certifications, and/or relevant work experience will be considered. Salary will follow NIH guidelines commensurate with training and experience.
