Postdoctoral positions are available in the Department of Medicine and the Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center, Northwestern University. We are seeking highly motivated postdocs with strong interest in translational cancer research and stem cell research. Our projects will use high-throughput, innovative approaches as well as focused molecular/cellular biology techniques to examine genetic and epigenetic regulations of prostate cancer and stem cells. The successful applicant must have a Ph.D. degree in molecular/cellular biology, bioinformatics, cancer biology, or closely related biological sciences. Experience in molecular genetic techniques and familiarity with chromatin and transcription factor studies are desirable. Experience in large-scale microarray and next-generation sequencing data analysis, integrative genomics analysis, bioinformatic and computer programming is a plus. We encourage and facilitate career development of postdoc to eventual independence.
