英国剑桥大学招聘博士后

An opening exists for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the Cognitive Systems Neuroscience Laboratory, led by Dr TJ Bussey and Dr LM Saksida, at the University of Cambridge. The project involves the validation of a new computer-automated cognitive screening procedure for the detection of cognitive impairments in preclinical models of Schizophrenia. This method will allow us to use tasks that are virtually identical to those used to test patient groups, and could revolutionise the screening of therapeutic agents for this most debilitating of diseases.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in behavioural neuroscience, or a related discipline, and a proven track record in neurobiological investigations relevant to the brain. Specific skills in behaviour are essential. Experience in stereotaxic procedures, histology, neuropharmacology and/or models of Schizophrenia would be an asset.

The post is funded by Janssen Pharmaceuticals and is relevant to several inter-related research themes of the Behavioural and Clinical Neuroscience Institute (http://research.psychol.cam.ac.uk/~bcni/).
