We are building a collaborative research team consisting of a mix of graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and research technicians to work on an NSF-funded project on the bioeconomics of aquatic invasive species in Wisconsin lakes. The project is a collaboration between the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics (Bill Provencher, David Lewis) and the Center for Limnology (Steve Carpenter, Jake Vander Zanden) at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Funding is available for up to five positions, starting in spring or summer of 2010.
Curriculum vitae, cover letter, and the names of three references must be received by 1 December 2009. Please address correspondence to Dr. Steve Carpenter and send electronically to the following address: ais@aae.wisc.edu. For more information about the project, visit our project website: http://limnology.wisc.edu/aischns/
