美国杜克大学医学院招聘博士后

A postdoctoral position is available in the lab of Sridhar Raghavachari at the Department of Neurobiology at Duke University Medical Center to study the biochemical mechanisms of synaptic plasticity in the brain. *

The project involves a close collaboration with the laboratory of Ryohei Yasuda (Duke) which uses state-of-the-art optical methods to study intracellular signaling in individual synapses. Results from these studies are integrated into computational models to understand the biochemical design principles of memory.

We are looking for a creative and motivated individual with strong interest in computational neuroscience. Talented applicants from any research background will be considered with a preference for expertise in computational physics or computational biology. The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative skills and programming ability. While the project is mainly theoretical/computational, the candidate will have the opportunity of working closely with experimental colleagues.

The Department of Neurobiology at Duke offers a highly collaborative and interactive intellectual environment. To apply for the position, please send a brief letter describing research experiences/interests, CV, preprints if necessary, and letters of recommendation (or contact information for two/three references) to sri@neuro.duke.edu.
