Post Doc position available immediately for a researcher with an engineering Ph.D. or equivalent and experience in the area of microfluidics.

 

Applicant must have microfabrication experience. Work will be carried out in silicon, thermoplastics and elastomers.

 

Applicant will supervise several graduate student research projects that are aimed at transferring microbiological assays onto microfluidic platforms. Experience with PCR, gel electrophoresis and fluorescence microscopy are not required, but would make an applicant particularly strong. Written and spoken communication skills must be excellent.
