A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Department of Physiology/Barshop Institute at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. The applicant will work on the elucidation of cellular signaling pathways that modify disease progression in a mouse model of Alzheimer's disease (AD), and on the identification of key molecular processes that link aging with AD. A backgound in biochemistry, neurobiology, genetics or other related fields and working experience with mouse models and in cellular and molecular biology is preferred.
