美国哈佛大学公共卫生学院招聘博士后

A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Brendan Manning, Associate Professor of Genetics and Complex Diseases at the Harvard School of Public Health to study cell-signaling pathways underlying tumorigenesis and metabolism.

The successful candidate will have recently completed, or be projected to complete, graduate studies in a PhD or MD/PhD program with a strong research and publication record in the biological sciences. Prior experience with rodent models is a plus. The fellow will join a laboratory with a focus on understanding the molecular wiring of a signaling network that integrate cues from growth factors, nutrient availability, energy status, and a variety of cellular stresses at both the cellular and organismal levels. Ongoing projects merge biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, and mouse models to characterize the role of oncogenes and tumor suppressors in the control of cell physiology and the maintenance of metabolic homeostasis. A major aim of these studies is to determine the fundamental signaling defects at the core of genetic tumor syndromes, cancers, and diabetes.
